Best show you've ever seen?

That's a tough one for me because
there are different aspects to a
show and each one has to be eval-
uated in its own terms.

I have seen a LOT of shows. I think
I probably have seen over 200!

Well, for the overall effect, I
think that the Welcome Back My
Friends to the Show that Never Ends
tour, by ELP, has to take it. I
think that was 1977. It was just
over the top.

There was a Jethro Tull concert
that year that was incredible too.

For the musical impact, I think
that one of the Shakti concerts
has to take the cake, with Zakir
on percussion - just astounding!

For the drums, I think that I
have to choose the Ralph McDonald
Show in NYC, with Rick Marotta
and Steve Gadd on drums. Chuck
Rainey was on bass. Richard Tee
was playing organ, with Leon
Pendarvis on electric piano...
Eric Gale was on guitar, with
Hugh McCracken, Dave Sanborn on
alto, and the Breckers....

That must have been in 1978.

That has to be the one!

That's the craziest, funniest shit I've ever heard.

I must name two shows. The first one was Karizma in Copenhagen. Needless to say, Vinnie Came on stage and took the leading role of the band. He made a Stand up comedy show for like 15 mins explaining his "I'm Tweeked/Attack of the 25lb Pizza" to the crowd after they played it.

There was alot of communication with the audience that night. Unforgetable.

The other show was Little Feat. I think Little Feat is one of the greatest bands around on tour. It's just purely magic when they're playing. Richie Hayward is one of my favorite drummers too, he makes the worlds most tastiest fills on his splashes. I Watched them in 1995 and in 2001, bot shows is one of my best live-experiences ever.

RONALD BRUNER with Kenny Garrett this past Friday! No one can even touch this guy! Think I'm kidding? Ask Vinnie! He's been a mentor to him....By the way,He's only 21 years old! Quite possibly the most incredible shit I have ever seen.....I'll try and post some of the show....UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
